Has anybody found anything they like to use when installing kitchen outlets underneath the upper cabinets? Been using just regular plug mold but what a pain in the arse!

Like this, but I use LED ribbon instead of those lights (pic not my work). This way, the switches are in the same place and direction as when they were on the wall, with 'on' toward the user.

We just had under-cabinet outlets installed as part of a kitchen renovation. I don't know the brand name. I will try to post a photo when I get home. The component came with two duplex outlets about 2 feet apart. They are built into a triangular shaped raceway about 3-4 feet long. It sits in the corner at the back of the upper cabinets, and the outlets face down at an angle. The cabinet design has 19.5 inches between the countertop surface and the bottom of the upper cabinets. So we don't have any outlets in the backsplash.

Sounds like the Legrand I mentioned above.

They're still way more expensive than standard Wiremold boxes, which are also available in different depths.

This is what was recently installed in our kitchen. There is a string of LED lights just out of view at the top of the image, installed on the near edge of underside of the upper cabinet. That is the cause of the reflection under the outlets.
Edited to add that my GC just informed me that the brand is "Task power": https://www.hardwareresources.com/light-power/power-strips.html
