under carpet wiring

could someone help me locate information on cmuc cable for under carpet wiring. I believe it used to be in 725.61(E)(6) but I cannot find it in the 2023 code book.

I don't have the book in front of me but aren't CMUC cables in Article 800?

I installed miles of UCC's in the 80's both power and communications. I'm surprised that anyone still uses it.

What's the actual question regarding these cables? Look at 800.113, 800.179(G), Table 800.154(a),(b),(c).

the actual question was
what type of class 2 or 3 cables are permitted to be run under a carpet?

they gave 3 options if I remember correctly, they were
CL3P
CL2P-PL
CMUC
and one other

The last we used it was for Radio Shack, that’s been a while.

Come to think of it, they had some issues with the transition fittings catching on fire. Can’t remember if it was Radio Shack or Best Buy.
