I have seen plugmold that is at an angle but if this is a standard counter and not an island then installing an outlet below the counter would not comply for the SABC. The except. for below the counter is for islands and peninsulas. Art. 210.52 (C)(5)

Since Dennis is too busy not actually reading the question I'll help you. 
I have used these instead of plugmold and in island appliucations. They are pretty easy to work with.

They are in my friends house, and actually look neat and tidy. But now that I think of it, they would look bad in an island. I'll look for photo's though.

I am totally blind...:grin:. The box you showed looks pretty ugly to me. I would rather see a sill recep. if possible

The rec. in photo would not be llowed in a counter top.

I have used Wiremold boxes attached directly to the underside of the countertop, facing the floor. Very discrete, and can compensate for a greater-than-6" overhang with a bit of Wiremold channel.

True but the OP wasn't talking about a counter top-- at least I didn't think he was--. I have used those recep on windowsills that butt to a counter where there is no room for a one under the window.

I have found Grainger's pricing to be very useful when making up a bid. Then I buy the stuff where the pricing is real world.
