I have a kitchen island issue, and I am hoping someone can recommend a solution.
A while back at the supply house I saw a surface mounted box, that was at an angle.
The box design enabled you to install the box right unde the counter lip.I can not find this item. Thanks.

I have seen plugmold that is at an angle but if this is a standard counter and not an island then installing an outlet below the counter would not comply for the SABC. The except. for below the counter is for islands and peninsulas. Art. 210.52 (C)(5)

They are in my friends house, and actually look neat and tidy. But now that I think of it, they would look bad in an island. I'll look for photo's though.

I have used Wiremold boxes attached directly to the underside of the countertop, facing the floor. Very discrete, and can compensate for a greater-than-6" overhang with a bit of Wiremold channel.

Electricmanscott, thanks for the reply. That was the animal I was looking for.
Grainger wants $56.00......Bet I can get it alot cheaper else where.
THanks again

I wouldn't buy anything from them unless it was an absolutely dire end of the world situation.

I think I bought mine for around twenty bucks.
