Under ground conduit

I want to ruin conduit under ground to an area ware a garage is going to be built.The reason i want to ruin it know is i am having a patio poured and want to have it under the cement.My question is how deep does the conduit have to be under the cement and do i need sand or rocks under it for drainage.Also do i need to have it inspected before i pour.

Can we ask what YOU normally do when you do this type of undergound burial which is common ??

most inspectors I kbnow would have you digging up the slab if you installed conduit without an OK to cover inspection. Read table 300.5 for the answer to your question.
