I don?t think this light bulb is rated for underwater installation??? I found this inside an RTU yesterday.
 
How did the water get in there in the first place? All the equipment looks like it's never seen a drop. That and the fact there's MC....

I would put my money on condensation from air temperature differences..
 
I went gigging flounder with my brother in law a few nights after dark. We put one of those fixtures in the OP on the end of a piece of pipe, clamped it to the side of the boat underwater, and plugged it into a generator we stuck on the boat. Worked great. Lit up the water from underwater. We were the flounder gigging kings that night. We probably got 100lbs worth.

Lemme guess.... you also had a hand-crank megger.....

Happens in walk-in refers all the time - due to lack of duct seal. Cold dry air sucks in wet humid air - or somtin to that effect.... I went to a service cal where there was no water line in the jar - filled right up to the top - since I didn't see a water line I figured it was empty - big surprise when I pulled the jar off and spilled it all over myself.
