hi. we are remodeling our 25 y old pool and when we removed our deck, we noticed that the brass conduit (for the lights and pool equipment) was rusted in multiple areas. we are looking into replacing it. i understand the difference between PVC and metal (rust vs no rust). But i am also looking at costing. which route is more economical ? i read that PVC needs to be buried 18" deep while metal is only 6-8". this makes a big difference in terms of labor cost.
