An AFCI breaker costs about $35 for each 120 volt circuit ($70 total). For a MWC the AFCI costs about $130. (maybe not for GE?) The savings on buying one 12-3 vs. two 12-2 is the cost of a cup of coffee ( unless you buy 1,000 ft rolls) Conclusion: I avoid MWC like the plague.
