Unfinished Storage Areas

Can Romex be run in an unfinished storage area above the garage? There are stairs leading up to the sotrage area ant the print shows fours outlets and a prewire for a fan/light and it also lists the area as an unfinished storage area. The ceiling is only 7'6'' at the peak and like 4'6" at the wall. Can I run Romex through the walls and if so is there any special installation requirements?

You want to be careful how you run wire through the walls. If the walls are part of a truss system, you can't drill holes in the webs.
