Anybody work with the Unidrive VFD made in the UK?

I have an older one that I need to change from closed loop with encoder to open loop 4-20ma. Must be a security I am missing cause it won't let me change it.

I assume you have removed the encoder I/F option card if it has one. This may allow reset or disable all encoder parameters. You didn't specify model. I have similar issues with a GPD (model ? - slips the mind). I had to remove the encoder option card to get the drive to disable vector control parameters. www.Allied-automation.com has pdf's on various Unidrive models.

I had to enter a code in Menu 0.00 that would allow me to make the change in Menu 0.48. etc, etc.

208 page PDF instruction manual on a laptop is a pia.
