13.00

You said it was a "Handy Box", a standard handy box does not have 13.0 cu in.

I think a standard handy box has about 10 cu in.

So sorry, their note did read " handy type box", I just selected a 1 7/8" deep box to satisfy the fill requirement.
Sorta like the guy who insists that a suzuki samaurai is a "Jeep"....

And I was mistaken, it looks like a 'standard' depth handy box does have 13.0 cu in.

BTW, some inspectors view the use of a box with KOs in a free floating application to be a violation onto itself.

The premade assemblies come with FS style steel boxes. (Think steel Bell Box)

I did an inspection at Home Depot the other day. They have free floating pendant boxes that I had not seen before. They have the KOs, but they are not the standard KOs we normally see. These KOs will take quite a bit of work to remove, very much molded in the manufacturing process.

Today I did an inspection. The boxes for the receptacles were laying on the floor- plastic... and all broken up from being stepped on and whatever. I asked them to replace the boxes and remove the temps from the floor. They were not too happy. They do not understand that I was doing them a favor.
