Is there a preferred color code for receptacles that are powered from UPS's? I am having a hard time finding any type of standard for this. Thank you for any help!

Some people install UPS-supplied receptacles with isolated grounds, so orange would be appropriate then; the necessity & wisdom of that has been discussed elsewhere.
FWIW, if you are installing UPS-supplied receptacles near unprotected receptacles, label them well (more obviously that just the panel/breaker #). Better not to mix them at all if that's possible.
Isolated ground recpts used to be orange. Now they are any color with an orange triange. See 406.2(D)
I don't like IG receptacles as most don't understand what the orange is, and then plug in a laser copier.
IS receptacles don't do much for noise reduction anyway. On a UPS, thats different, but consider how you will control what is plugged into them.
One other tip. for your branch circuit wiring, use black-white-green etc, with a orange stripe. Striped wire can be ordered, out here we have a company that takes standard THHN and stripes it, can get just 500 ft.
I too would like suggestion for limited 1,000 watt in my home. Its intent is only clocks and computers.RED might not be bad idea but then i have plenty of orange ones (free)
