USE size

Where are the sizes given for USE wire. How can one determine a conductor fill for instance for protective sleeves or masts using USE?

Refer to Chapter 9, Table 1, note (2) and you will find that sleeves are exempt from conduit fill.

I was aware that sleeves were exempt I was just curious as to where the dimensions for use are?

Stew I think the information you are looking for is in note 9 of chapter 9. The information above is correct for a short sleeve, the next question should be what is a short sleeve.

Cable dimensions are determined by actual measurement of the cable being used.

Same answer and reference as Ryan said above.

use is not multiconductor it is as far as I know a single conductor

Most of the THNN/THWN wire we use also has the USE listing on the wire. When I was first reading this post I was thinking SEU too, H'mmmm
