Hi all.
I read a post on another site about Electricians using one 12 gauge, 3 wire to wire for two circuits.
I would like to have this done in my home here in San Diego.
It appears my two bathrooms are wired together on one 15a circuit along with both bath's lighting and two receptacles for our t.v's in two other rooms. Bizarre, but this is what was allowed in 84.
Anyway, I would like to take the 12-3 wire from the breaker box and run the one line to the first bath's outlet, and then carry it over to the second bath's outlet.
Can someone explain if this is code, and exactly how I would have this configuration connected to allow for two seperate circuits? Also clarify the connections at the circuit breaker panel?
I appreciate all of your responses.
Sincerely Paul.
