I too would like to know where the "120 cfm's" is coming from.....Also,
does this small attic space have eave vents \ openings to allow an
in-flux of air ?.....What about ridge vents as an option ?.....In the
location of the OP, what does their AHJ adopted codes require as a
minimum ? [ RE: Section R806 in the `12 IRC ].

Getting back to the question of finding a small enough fan:

Is fan motor speed control an option?

Fantech inline fans have two speed motors using same input voltage. pex supply online is where i had found them at lowest cost.

@ just 120cfm, i am thinking solar powered item w/ line voltage as backup or for night running.
