Using cable stackers horizontally

Never used one. In the mostly residential areas I work in half the time it is just as easy and quick to lop off a chunk of 2x4 and looks ten times as nice. On the main stud bay where all the homeruns drop down I always try to throw some 2 bys up right away and just staple on as we go.

I'm asking if anyone uses or has had EI issues using these horizontally along floor joists or rafters.
You mean like this?

Yes, I've done it, and no, it hasn't been a problem.

How do you guys feel about using Cj-6s [Colorado Jims] with NM?
Same answers, and in the same house.

As far as sagging cables goes add more or put a zip tie on them, the sagging between stacker's just gives cooling space for the cables so they are not considered "bundled":D

Every time I added a zip tie I got red tagged for bundling...

I've used them for basements when they fur out the block walls with 2x2...
Makes for a super sloppy installation imo but few other options seem as quick.

One thing you should make sure of if you are using them is to be using the Cj-6 for NM because the Cj-6s is not ul'd for NM. Minor differences between the two but apparently it was a big enough one to make to different models.
