Most all the conduit in commercial buildings are steel. Is there anything wrong with PVC conduit in a tire store if it is 7 feet high from one panel to a 100 amp sub panel? If I use steel, do I need to use grounding bushings in each panel? Thank you.

Unless there is some wierd reason that the conduit is subject to damage, PVC is legal.

What is the voltage? That would a factor if steel conduit is used whether grounding bushings or such are needed. Also the type of knock outs.

It's legal but it looks like the contents of a soiled diaper in a month.

Also, to do it by the letter of the law you need special straps a semi truck load of them if you put one everywhere you're supposed to have one, and if the walls are block that's a lot of hammer drilling.
