Using UF wire for lights by pool ?

Is there anything wrong with using UF wire inside brick pillars to power lights on top of each pillar that is 4 feet away from a pool? Thank you. I found out that UF does not have an insulated ground, but a "jacketed ground."

Don't believe it can be done w/ the details provided- see 680.22(B)(1) thru (B)(6) for lighting around pool and 680.10 for wiring location.

Think it will depend on the size of the pillar and the route of the wiring. As user100 points out, your may be within a prohibited zone.
