How many Cu. In. is that box?

Honestly do not know. I will have to check. It is one of the boxes that has been used since I started and I never thought to check. If it will not hold one 14-2 and a fixture wire, what is it for? LV connections? Great, now I will have to change. :D

If we're talking about roughing-in, I have used this method even for back-to-back vanity fixtures, although I only show one box here. I used a 2.5" hole saw on a piece of 2x4 before cutting it in half.

A pair of 3" screws through the side studs go into the ends of the blocking, and one screw in the pancake box goes into each half of the blocking, effectively connecting the two halves back together.

Very nice Larry!:) Of course, if the plumber would use his noggin, we wouldn't have this problem!

To be honest, some do use care not to run vents directly down the center, and I have even had some make sure that it is not even in the same stud bay so I could use an 8b with the hanger bar
