Our teleco changes that number monthly.
But I recall I used a phone number for a some tech line that ID'd the number you are calling on.

I have been using 990 for years - I just tried it and it still works. (southern NY, just north of NYC)

I went back and tried the number again, and it was changed already - you are right, this site must be under 24 hour surveillance

To echo back the number your calling in maryland try 200-200-6969 this works on the eastern shore of maryland, and Ive used it in the baltimore suburbs. I've used it for years it's never changed. Delware is 311 its been that way for years too.

In central PA (Sprint), it's 311 + (2 digit month) + (2 digit year). Sometimes they skip a month, so you have to try last month's.
