Thanks to my boss as well. He is an EC that did not serve, but his father was part of the landing force of Marines at Guadacanal. He gives every honorably discharged veteran the option of taking the day off or receiving 8 extra hours pay.

I was able to see some of the parade up Congress Ave. from the 25th story of the high rise we're roughing in. This is a great country thanks to our vets!

Just Chief, and barely that. The company I work for does the same, all veterans get a paid day off (We all went golfing), first large company I have seen that does that, sure is nice. Should be the norm IMO, but for those that didnt get a thanks, I thank you all for you sacrifices.

I really hate to close this thread but it doesn't pertain to the electrical field. I am sure it was left open because yesterday was indeed Veterans Day. I thank everyone for their service as well.
