Veterinary X-ray

Would you consider a veterinary x-ray unit to be covered more in article 660 (industrial) or 517, part V. (health care)
I havent seen the mfgr's instruction sheet yet.

Also do you think the whole building would fall under 517.

I. General
517.1 Scope.
The provisions of this article shall apply to electrical construction and installation criteria in health care facilities that provide services to human beings.

I would wire it to the more stringent of articles 517 or 660. This is an instance where National Electrical Code has a few gaps.

There are also a few lies in NEC that conflict with what is practical such as how many wires you can really stuff into liquidtight flexible metal conduit. That is, the box connectors have reduced cross section that can really hurt. I have also encountered a few instances where THWN has thick the Code insulation or the wire strands are somehow anticompact stranded.
