Voltage Drop load Test

Hi

I am getting a 1km electrical cable run to my house and have calculated what the voltage drops will be at specific loads. However this is in theory are there any testers I can used to test various loads?
I could buy a number of electrical heaters and try it that way but I'm hoping there's a dedicated tool for the job?
