I have a perspective client who is experiencing voltage drop on his expansive property. The reason for the voltage drop is Obvious, small wiresize and mutliple splices. Was thinking on using a boost transformer at a juction point where it splits up to other loads. The voltage at that point is 458v single phase at 9 am in the morning, 90 degress f.The length of the run is +/- 1500' . My concern is after the summer is over, what kind of problems I would get, like excessive voltage. Any thoughts?

Yes, voltage fluctuation will occur either way. If you can't get the utility closer, I suggest stepping the voltage up as far before the long run as you can, and back down as far downstream as you can.
