Voltage drop

I also want to point out, as Gar has done many times and has this info on his web site.

Most CFL's (non-dimming type) have a wide range of voltage before any noticeable dimming occurs, my office is over 100' from my service entrance panel fed from a 15 amp 14 awg circuit, and my incandescent desk lamp dims quit a bit when my laser printer is printing and some what after it prints the last page, but the CFL's in my ceiling light don't even twitch, if it wasn't for the Triplet power conditioner with voltage regulation I would be having problems with the computer, I have plugged the desk lamp into the Triplet and it no longer dims.

2,000 feet times 3 is 6000 feet of conductor.

If you want to split hairs and call it 4,000 plus 2,000 of ground.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It is only 2000 feet if using multiconductor cable, but there needs to be at least 3 conductors in the cable:)
