That's also a very good point. It bothers me a lot that earthquakes are always reported as a Richter scale number and the duration is never mentioned. It's beyond obvious that a 10 second event is no where near the same thing as a 60 second event.

Current is the flow of electrons. This flow does not occur without a difference of potential, i.e. Voltage. It is the current that kills. We have all recieved and survived shocks of tens of thousands of volts from static discharges. We survive because the flow of current is in the micr-amp range. The test question was right.:smile:

Current is speed of vehicle heading toward you, voltage is driver, you are victim.


Voltage is a cheeseburger, impedence is like a pack of cigarettes, capacitance is that surrealist painting on the wall, and inductance is that game of Canasta you and your grandmother just got done playing. Now take your wire cross-sectional area, which is repesented by a zebra, and -- what's this thread about again?
