Walk-in freezer wiring

Question about walk in freezer . Has anyone seen a freezer with the time clock located in the condenser unit and is wired in off the same feed as the condenser unit. Meaning there is no spectate feed the evaporator fan. The tine clock in the condenser unit already has factory wired leads on 1 and N . Other ones I see. I bought a feed to the tine clock located somewhere else and ran control wires to fans but this seems different
 
It's pretty common I think.

So on something like this if I just feed the condenser l1 and l2 on the contractor in the condenser and then run my control wires to the fan in the walk-in that sounds right?
