I had a call from a company Commercial Investigations Inc asking if I had any outstanding invoices that I needed to collect' They said they would collect the debt for 25% of what they collected on I sent them a copy of one that owes about 1500.00.Today they called and said they located the person and found they had the funds to pay the debt but refused and if I would like to go to level 2 I needed to send them 650.00 which would be added to the amount the would seek to collect.I asked them were in Nigeria I should send the check.Anyone else delt with this?
 
Tell them nice try. These 3rd party debt collectors are slimeballs, and when they do "collect", you're lucky to see even a small fraction of it. I just file at the local magistrates office for people who owe. That is the single most effective way to clear up the books.
