Weatherproof Electric Panel

Is there a requirement as to how far off the wall I must install a residential weatherproof electric panel? I seem to remember some spec was mentioned. Is it Florida spec or county spec? I am in Pinellas County in case it matters. Thanks

It's NEC & It's 1/4" ,,,but most outdoor panels have the 1/4" "humps" where the bolts go, so you don't need to do anything special.
 
And after you mount the panel on the bare block wall, the stucco guy is gonna come along and stucco around it and there goes the 1/4" air space and nobody cares!
