I know I have made a bunch of $$$ just replacing mobile home panels in florida over the years. They all rust out but the main reason they are replaced is the main fails. Most I`ve replaced are ITE quads they seem to fail more than most.If anyone can supply a 40,000 sq ft home with one panel I for one would like to see it.I did a 32,000 here a few years ago and we installed a 800 amp ct service with 4 panels and all were full to the max.

No Jim I meant 40,000 sq ft of home there are quite a few of those in our area.Just go to Avilla and there are 3 I know of within reach of that sq.footage.32,000 35,000 and 30,000. I did the 32,000 sq ft. one ,so i know what I`m talking about.Over 750 ft of 4/0 ser and 31,000 ft of 2 wire and 11,000 ft of 3 wire.We passed all inspections the 1st time around.Yes a 4,000 sq. ft. home usually only require a 200 amp service ,but if it was mine I`d want a 320/400 for future additions.

Hey, it was late. Four Thousand Sq feet. but that was just a number. Point is, there is no way to get a house full of romex into a weatherprof panel and not Bundle the romex.

I have no idea what you mean by that.

Of course you can, just don't stuff them in PVCs which is a violation in most cases anyway.
