We stopped near a substation for lunch so my daughter could feed the birdies, and I noticed these white twirly things around the ground wire at the top of the pole,my daughter asked one of the lineys, who were working on an earthing transformer in the yard, they said,we don't know much about this ''low voltage'' stuff,we're only here coz the usual guys are replacing 2 miles of railway stuff in the Blue Mountains,we usually work on 330,512 and 765kV stuff, any ideas what they could be?
