Are you at trim out stage?

Can you run any more wires to timer location?

Trimming it out. It is a super-insulated house (hence the 45 CFM constant "on") and it would be crazy to go back into the attic to try to modify.

The owner is happy with a spring-wound. Next time I will do it different.

rib's have ones that snap into a 1/2" ko. is there a way to put it outside the can?

No, attic is very heavily, freshly insulated. No going up there!

Can you get something like this in either the timer or fan terminal boxes...

Yeah, that would do it if I could get it behind the single-pole switch in the same 2-gang box. And it's cheap.
