I'm not comfortable with the welding code. In all my reference and illustrated guide books I can't find any examples for welders. A spec book on a welder I'm installing list input amp-20 fuse 40 amp and a 50 amp power plug and cord. The part I'm confused about is the size of the power cord and plug. Does my branch circuit need to be that large also? Also, were can I find examples for welders? Examples help me understand better than anything.
