Well pump

Is a submersible well pump required to be GFCI protected? I didn't see anything that told me it did.

Not if it isn't 120 volt cord and plug connected.

If it is cord and plug connected to a 120 volt 15 or 20 amp receptacle outside then the receptacle will be required to be GFCI protected.
