J jap Senior Member Occupation Electrician Feb 26, 2013 #21 If I always installed nail plates when the cable was within 2" of the face of the stud I'd probably do something similar if it was was behind a1/4" of tile but that just me. I'm sure it will pass the minimum requirements. looks good.
