Say you are adding a new circuit to a 200A residential service.

What clothing (incl. your hands, feet, eyes, face) will you generally be wearing?

Two responses with steel toed boots. Why? Dropping stuff on your feet more than w/e the reduction is resistance is worth?

Right here.
The electrical hazard steel toes are actually hard plastic. Cut an old pair of EH rated boots apart and see. As a side benefit, they aren't cold on the tootsies in the winter like steel is.

Not ALL Electrical Hazard rated footwear has plastic safety toes . TIMBERLAND and WOLVERINE make STEEL TOED boots and shoes that are EH rated .
Check the specs before you buy .

I have never worn steel toes boots, I own a pair and have kept them in the truck, as some places have signs requiring them. Have not had to wear once. Wear these daily.
