What do your wear to work?

Are they only good until washed as far as tick repellent goes?

They are supposed to be good for 70 washings. It's a process developed by the US military to protect troops against biting/stinging insects and has now migrated to the civilian market.

Nice pants, but probably a little hot in the summer in Texas...

They might be OK in the winter, though at $90 a pair, they're kind of pricey!

I've been getting Propper tactical pants for a few years now and they're really holding up well. They also have knee pad pockets which I haven't tried out, but might this year. I just need to search out some material for the pads. Shirt varies by my mood. Sometimes a tee, other times long sleeve or fleece pullover, and on those days I'm thinking of my dad, I wear his guitar tee shirt Every once in a while I wear jeans or shorts.

For me, it's a t-shirt (usually swag from a vendor or a gig) when I'm in the shop, and often a polo when I go on site to talk with clients. Pants are Carhartts or sometimes jeans. I also wear a thick hoodie at the shop in the winter - our shop is drafty.

Shoes are almost always black New Balance sneakers, the kind that are designed for nurses and waitstaff. My duck feet don't fit into steel caps without messing up my toes.
