We came across two out of eight 100 amp - 480 volt feeding rooftop A/C units with two blades engaged with the switch in the "OFF" position. Consider an A/c mechanic doing maintainance??? The building owner had us change(upgraded) them all to another manufacturer with a metallic shaft. The other six showed signs of destortion too. The switches were sized tight--but legal and located on a wall facing the afternoon sun.
