What is meant by "Explosion Protected"?

So Allen-Bradley uses the terms "Explosion-Protected" to describe their 800TC- switch contact blocks. I have never seen this term used before. Is this a marketing thing or does "explosion-protected" have meaning in the NEC or UL?

From what I can tell it isn't listed for anything. I tried researching it at UL's Certification site which UL has now transmogrified to virtually useless. In any case, I learned to ask manufactures for the UL "E- number" unless the ad material actually indicates a certification mark.

This does not mean the product is unsuitable for Division 2, simply more due-diligence is necessary.
