What is octupus connection?

Hi there! May I ask you fellow about the subject matter, the octupus connection.Can you tell me what is octupus connection?Can a socket (say two outlet)be consider octupus connection when an extension cord was plug in one after another..?Is there any provision in the NEC which prohibit this connection.Thank you and God bless us all.

An octopus connection is one with eight outlets. An octopus is also a mollusk with eight arms and covered with suckers. I married one's daughter
