What is the real problem with this range ?

Did he measure voltage from neutral to ground?



Were the measurements taken with everything on the range turned off?

Then taken while partial load was on. Open neutral all day long.

According to his report "Electrician " found that the stove was accidentally wired to the "stinger" leg. :-?

That would not give the voltages described, If there is a high leg present, is this a commercial or industrial establishment? Have not seen too many deltas used in residential. If it is feed from a 480 to 120/208 wye system, probable floating neutral, but stove would still work.

This is a large apartment complex with "in-house" electrician.
I plan on speaking myself. Just not right with me.
