Often the GC is either not on the job or is just as unknowing as the guy who did this.I did work for a GC that turned out a house a week.Trust me he counted on other trades to call things to his attention,even offered me a job to be both his EC and foreman.What happened here might only been a few hours ago.Bad part is might not got caught till too late.Fast track builders go from slab to roof in 4 days.Try to keep up with 20 at a time.
 
I tucked a couple of wires behind some insullation in a bathroom wall that ajoins a garage. My intentions were to cut in boxes after the sheet rock was up in the garage. I came back to the job sight a couple of days latter and the dry waller told me how he had "helped me out" by moiving those wires to the other side of the insullation before he rocked over the bathroom walls. Wires that would have been real easy to find will probably be a b#####d to find now!:mad:
