what is pneumatic switch? pneumatic is air, right?

Also called a pressure switch. Air pushes diaphragm connected mechanically to switch. At set pressure switch is moved (shut opened etc)

COme in all flavors air vacuum, water hydraulic.

Pneumatic switches will not be water nor hydraulic.

I think he was talking more generically about pressure switches. They do come in those other flavors.
