What KVA is this transformer?

I'm wiring a job where they want to use this transformer from 1983 haha. What is confusing me however is that the transformer seems to have different ratings and isn't a standard size going by the nameplate. However if you look up the model number online two different sources that sell secondhand equipment say it's a 45kva transformer. Going by the tag on the transformer which states the high voltage amps at 480 volt is 54 amps that also aligns with being a 45kva transformer. What's going on? I attached a picture of the tag on the transformer, sorry the image quality isn't the best, that tag has seen better days.

Never seen that on a small transformer before...The kVA is different based on how hot you want to let the windings get.

Most small dry type transformers use a base temperature rise of 150°C. If you want to have the transformer run cooler, say 80°, you simply don't load it as much.

What was confusing me was that at 150°C it looks like it was only rated for 15kva. But I think that might be a misprint. Or maybe it did originally say 45kva and the tag has degraded to where the 4 now looks like a 1. I will say zooming in it looks like the spacing between the 1 and 5 is awfully far apart on the KVA line compared to the spacing between the 1's and 5's on the temperature rise line.

Look at your input amps and the math gives you 45kva (at 150C)... the nameplate is damaged.

Yeah I believe you are correct. It's just about unbelievable how that 4 turned into a 1 without the other numbers around it being as damaged. I felt like a CSI investigator for a moment zooming in and comparing type spacing LOL

To prevent future confusion I'm going to attach a new label beside the old one clarifying what the transformer is

I thought it was a 7, but that was even more "unright"... I agree it's a damaged 4.

ENHANCE! :D
