After retrofitting fl's to whatever, some builders will magically want some proof of legal disposal right before the last payment.. so beware.
I don't doubt the science and marvel that I'm still alive when I recall as kids we played with mercury, poring it in our palms, etc,Tubes should be recycled guys. Mercury is not good stuff.
When we were little, we found out the Agway across the street stored old 8 foot tubes in the boxcar behind. We played Luke Skywalker with themI don't doubt the science and marvel that I'm still alive when I recall as kids we played with mercury, poring it in our palms, etc,
(also used to break-up asbestos blocks and mix them in water)

Dang man. Luckily to be alive that is dangerous lol. That was one way some one died on 1000 ways to die show. When we were little, we found out the Agway across the street stored old 8 foot tubes in the boxcar behind. We played Luke Skywalker with them
Are you saying that they are paying you? Last time I had to check on disposing about 450 lights they would charge me about $1 each.I can get 10 cents per pound for ballasts now, and I found a place that will take the tubes for 50 cents each.
I wish! No that's the cost to me. I'll probably keep most of the good T-8 tubes and the T-8 ballasts. Are you saying that they are paying you?
Would you install used ballasts or lamps at a customer's business? Would you tell them? How would you charge for material?I wish! No that's the cost to me. I'll probably keep most of the good T-8 tubes and the T-8 ballasts.
I'd probably need four boxes.$107.75 (plus I assume inbound shipping) to recycle them -if theyll all fit in the box depending on T12 to T8 ratio
