What would you do if your man installed this?

See attached pics. Not sure if the mechanical lugs screwed to the outside of the conduits are supposed to be substitutes for bond bushings or what.

Skill at cadwelding is lacking as well.

This is a grounding electrode system for a generator.

i disagree. that is scrap wire on the side of the building.
it' is not an electrical installation.

as for the "electricians"? two words:

field check.

and if everything is cold and frosty, take two scraps of wire and fire a test shot to heat the blocks, then clamp them on the wire,
and leave them for ten minutes before pouring and firing the shot.

how long have you had these guys whoring for you?

dang spell check. ... working WORKING.... I would be wondering where else they have been.

This is the first job this company has done for me. Low bidder. Never heard of them before this job. I did check their references and they were good. Supposedly a 30+ year business that does multimillion dollar electrical jobs.

Like I said, I've been around for more than 20 years as an electrical contractor, engineer and Owner in the same area of Indiana. Hadn't heard of this company before. Should have been more weary I guess.

Next time you'll be more "wary", but by the time this job is done you'll be "weary" all right! :D
