Just normal building voltages -- say from 24VAC to 480VAC.
I haven't done much high voltage work lately, so I don't have much need for that right now. But since you bring it up, what detector are you talking about? Can you direct me to a web address that I can bookmark for future reference?

My old TIF Tick Tracer that died was a 2-range model. Under 600V and over 600V. It was rated for use up to about 15KV and came with a hot stick. It worked pretty well.
