Type-TC tray cable meets all of your requirements. It's OK for use under the 2017 NEC in single family dwellings. What code cycle are you on?

2014, I'll check into that cable even if I can't use it under 2014 just to learn something.

I told the HO 60 amps would be more than enough but he insists on having 100 amps. I've purchased UF in large sizes before. It's amazingly expensive, usually is not in stock, and inconvenient for sleeving with pipe since it comes in a flat-pack.

thought it was allowed as long as it is TC-ER not just TC?
