I like dishwashing liquid or yellow 77.
I do not like yellow 77, IMO it turns to glue after sometime.Originally posted by aelectricalman:

Both turn to glue when left out...try it and see.Originally posted by aelectricalman:

No I have never done that, putting lube in ahead of time means who, or what is doing the pulling has to deal with a slippery snake or rope.Originally posted by davedottcom:
Do any of you put a little into the pipe as you run the pipe?
Never as pipe is being run. Sometimes it may take months before we get to that point (underground in switchgear), or mere minutes (overhead BCs in a mall/retail).Originally posted by davedottcom:

Yes, i have some of that too. Thats good stuff. There are some dishwashing liquids that are OK. Just use the ones which have biodegradable surfactants.Originally posted by sandsnow:
Ideal makes that clear stuff, I think that's what you guys are talking about.
You can't say KY Jelly in here. It is calling out a product by name. Joking.Originally posted by sandsnow:

I watched the Ideal rep put some in his hands and then rub it in his hair. Talk about a salesman who believes in his product. He also informed us that it has an ingredient in common with a product similar to KY jelly. I'd mention the product by name, but my post would be deleted.
