Building is duplex office with seperate meters.Problem is the location of the CU (air cond comp.) The arch. showed the unit with a #1 being on right and #2 on left on the pad on the electrical print. Now the fun part he shows it reversed on the mechanical.Who's fault ? and who moves ? and who pays ?Has happened twice now in this complex.

That's easy!

That's easy!

Try this,
Diplomatically tell GC that the architect goofed and the mistake went unresolved. suggest that the owner may not like the look of all that liquid-tight criss-crossing outside the offices. If you have to play hardball write upa slip for the extra time and material it would take to alter your rough in location. Suggest the Mechanical contractor do the same, no matter what the GC is going to go with who's cheaper. Of course the GC may not care at all, in which case you should wire the CU's as shown on the print, backwards!

Somehow i dont think i want to pay the other units electric bill.Actually pretty sure the install is illegal as not having access to the panel.

I take it that CU's are differant sizes and that is the problem. set a Jbox at each disconect location come out of Jbox to new disconect location by CU

If CU's same size just lable disconect and breaker like electrical print says

Oh and GC pays for extra

So I think you may have already answered your own questions.
It's your fault for not catching it. Again.
You pay.
You move.
Don't let it happen again!

Apparently, the non-english speakers put the units where their print showed them, and that is the problem. Please refrain from the immigrant bashing, or will haunt this forum foreevermore.

How do the LV and line sets work out? (in proper location on both roof and at tenant space)

..and the line sets...are they piped to the correct locations?
..and the t-stats...are they wired to the correct locations?

No idea if they are right but they marked theres #1 and # 2 and sat them under wrong dis..They also are the type that put there vents in without seeing where cans or other lights go.Thats easy i just tell them to move or if i feel like it i unscrew them and shove out of my way.Last week they set one under my meter and disc. They just dont understand and i have tried being nice and exsplain.
